Employee Assistance Program
The success of any business large or small depends
in large part on its employee productivity. When employee personal
problems follow them to work, the success of a business may be adversely
affected. That is why many businesses of all sizes now offer Employee
Assistance Programs (EAP).
Employers realize that the personal well-being and positive emotional
health of their employees contribute to higher levels of productivity,
just as intensifying personal problems can impair job performance.
An employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employer-sponsored program
for employees and their immediate family members (dependents) to
obtain help with personal problems that can and do affect work.
Features of the EAP include:
- Evaluations to determine the best course of treatment
- Crisis intervention
- Early-stage help for troubled workers

Why have an EAP

annually
- Depressed employees cost business in excess of $25 billion
annually

problems.

claims and 5 times more likely to file workers' compensation claims
than other employees

causes of hospitalization in the United States.

NMS Management Services Offers
DNA Diagnostics Testing
DNA testing is the most accurate method of establishing paternity.
Whether the test is for your own knowledge that is held strictly
in confidence by our lab or whether it is needed for legal or court
purposes, our clients are assured of state of the art testing as
well as licensed professional services. Sample collection is painless
and easily obtained using a buccal swab (mouth swab).
All types of samples can be analyzed though, as long as there is
cellular material in the sample. Other types of samples can include
tubes of blood, blood on the blood spot card, or even forensic type
sample such as cigarette butts, toothbrushes or envelopes scales
with saliva. These latter types of forensic samples give clients
who have deceased individuals involved in their case the ability
to obtain a paternity determination even though the individual is
not available for testing.
Additionally, prenatal DNA testing can be performed on the unborn
child using samples collected by a physician using techniques such
as amniocentesis or CVS. Since DNA is the same in every cell in
a person's body, all sample types gives the same results with equal
accuracy. Basic paternity determinations are 99.9% inclusive of
the father and 100% accurate in excluding a person that is not the
father of the child.
Most people choose a legally binding test, in case the results
are needed in court. The basic paternity requires samples from the
mother, alleged father and the child. In addition to standard paternity
testing, DNA Diagnostics also offers a wide variety of other DNA
based testing services. These legally admissible services are utilized
to determine the identity of a human being in a variety of situations
including:
- Paternity testing
- Divorce proceedings
- Infidelity
- Sexual harassment
- Sexual assault
- Criminal
- Blood tests
